We hold regular events and retreats at The Hermitage. Our meditation and teaching days are open to all. These are held almost monthly from early Spring to Autumn.
Visit our main events page at www.ahs.org.uk/events for full details of our events timetable and information on to how to book. All our events are offered on a donation basis to make them accessible to all.
We also hold events around the country that are hosted by our local groups. To find a local group near you, visit the Community page.
We often record our teaching events, so there is a wealth of material from previous events. Visit our YouTube channel to view our recordings. Our members also have access to a huge archive of audio and visuals, as well as online courses that enhance our study programmes.

Tuesday Evening Meditation
You are welcome to attend our Tuesday evening silent meditation session from 5pm – 6pm. The session is attended by local people and some of the residents. People are invited to stay on for a cup of tea and chat after the session.
If you are interested in coming along and would welcome some meditation guidance do let us know and one of us will be available to speak with you.
If you are coming for the first time please contact us beforehand via firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01766 530839 – to check that there hasn’t been any change to the timetable – for instance we may be closed to visitors during a retreat.
We also run occasional family fun sessions held during school holidays with activities aimed for primary school aged children. We run a mixture of arts and crafts, story telling and some Mindfulness games. All the family are welcome. There is no set charge for these sessions but donations to cover costs and to support the Hermitage are invited.
In 2019 we are planning a kids camp to run over a few days. Let us know if you might be interested in coming and / or helping out.
